Our Puppy Is Alive and OK”: Snoopy’s Story

In one of the photos Lesley shared with us, Snoopy is stretched out in the shade of a tree, his tongue hanging out and a blue harness wrapped around his fluffy black-and-white coat. He is a 10-month-old Goldendoodle, already weighing around 55 to 60 pounds.

The email that came with his photos told us something much harder to look at.

Snoopy had been hit by a car.

Lesley told us he had sustained minor injuries. In another photo, he is resting indoors, wearing a recovery cone, with a pink bandage around one hind leg. Her family had been through a frightening experience, and she wanted to share how thankful they were that he was alive.

The Harness He Was Wearing

When the accident happened, Snoopy was wearing his OneTigris FIRE WATCHER tactical dog harness. Afterward, Lesley noticed the damage to the vest and the injuries on the parts of his body it had not covered. What she saw left her believing that the harness had helped protect him.

“I strongly believe that the tactical vest helped him survive the impact.”

That belief was what brought her to our inbox. Even with an injured puppy to care for, she took the time to tell us what had happened and to thank our team.

“I would just like to say thank you for making such a well-made product.”

A Thank-You That Stayed With Us

Lesley also said she planned to buy Snoopy a new harness, along with a leash and collar. After seeing the damage to his gear, she still wanted to choose OneTigris for him again. We are grateful for that trust.

But the words we kept coming back to were at the end of her email:

“Me and my family are thankful that our puppy is alive and OK.”

Anyone who has loved a dog can understand the relief in that sentence. The familiar sight of your puppy resting at home can mean so much after coming close to losing him.

Lesley, thank you for introducing us to Snoopy and sharing your family’s experience. We are so glad he is still here with you. We wish him a comfortable recovery and many more days enjoying a shady spot beneath a tree.
